Clark County residents and Washingtonians are constantly bombarded with demands for more revenue, usually in the form of more fees or taxes.
One can only imagine what an income tax would provide for the “big spenders” in Olympia…which by the way is the next big push by the same “big spenders” in the Legislature.
As DOGE has discovered, the waste, fraud and abuse of taxpayer dollars is not only rampant, but exists at levels inconceivable to most of us, though we knew all along we were being shafted…we just didn’t know how much!
The problem with all levels of government spending is nothing is transparent, as DOGE is finding out at the Federal level.
The demand for more and more funds by government happens without government ever showing us the books and I don’t mean generic totals for some area of the budget.
If government wants more money from us, I want to see specifics on who is actually getting the funds…to who are we really paying out these sums and for what?
I hesitate to delve into partisan politics, but with Democrats controlling the Senate and House in Olympia, there is no longer representative government in Washington State…it is one-party rule and Democrats are making the most of it.
Stand by, for there are several Democrat bills pending in Olympia that will take money out of our pockets and finance the wildest dreams of the radical elements of the Washington State Democrats…and yet many citizens refuse to vote and put a stop to this outright theft of our hard earned wages.
Not voting is acquiescence to the waste, fraud and abuse by an out of control, one party rule Legislature and I, for one, very much resent it.
