Camas resident Gary Perman offers his support for David Stuebe in his race for state representative

Mayor David Stuebe of Washougal is a leader of the people – not your typical partisan politician. As a moderate conservative, what has really impressed me about Mayor Stuebe is his ability and track record of "working across the aisle." In these times of political division in SW Washington, we need a representative who cares about ALL citizens and can secure funding to address OUR district's needs.
Mayor Stuebe has a proven track record of bringing in funds for wastewater treatment, securing $40 million in federal funds for the Washougal Underpass revitalization, and overseeing riverfront property growth at the Port.
His opponent has little to no elected experience, no demonstrable leadership experience, zero public policy experience, little community service experience and no track record of success.
Imagine a four-lane "slough" bridge on Hwy 14 rather than a daily bottleneck of congestion and dangerous traffic accidents. Imagine a state representative who actually listens to their constituents and fights for solutions here in SW Washington.
I'm supporting Mayor David Stuebe for state representative. Please vote.
