Kudos for independent thinker Councilor Michelle Belkot for her courage to refrain from Groupthink by voting for both for her constituents and many others in Clark County. To try to remove her from the board of C-TRAN is unethical, illegal and plain old mean. The proposed light rail debacle has raised its ugly head again.
Thank you Michelle Belkot for your courage to question the light rail need and its prohibitive costs. The I-5 is a major interstate commercial corridor on the west coast. It is time to fully include the Federal government in the decisions on fixing this bridge. In the meantime fire the consultants, save big bucks and make sure the coast guard approves any new bridges.
