CLARK COUNTY — Future 42 Clark County released its voter guide for the nine proposed Clark County charter amendments on the Nov. 3 general election ballot. The organization is supporting seven amendments and remaining neutral on two.
The guide summarizes each proposal and states Future 42 Clark County’s position, with a short explanation of the reasoning. The amendments address county tax votes, term limits, budget transparency, performance audits, the county manager’s annual report, council authority over boards and commissions, nonpartisan elections, housing impact analysis, and the initiative and referendum process.
“Voters are being asked to rewrite parts of the county’s governing document,” said Leslie Lewallen, director of Future 42 Clark County. “Our guide is a plain-language resource so people can see what each amendment does and where we stand.”
