As a Charter Review commissioner, Peter sponsored or co-sponsored four amendments:

• 1. Amendment #20: Concerning a revised budget transparency process.

• 2. Amendment #24: Concerning a requirement for a housing impact analysis.

• 3. Amendment #25: Concerning the requirement of supermajority approval by the council for county taxes.

• 4. Amendment #27: Concerning legislative branch performance audits.

Peter is a telecommunications professional with 22 years of experience. He served as a policy analyst for the Board of Clark County Councilors from 2014 to 2016.

With more than 4,000 hours of experience in a council office and current service on the Charter Review Commission, Peter knows the details and background of the challenges facing the council. He is prepared on day one to begin work on his priorities: public safety, promoting housing affordability, and no new taxes.

He is a La Center neighbor and a friend of my husband and me.

He chose to do the League of Women Voters forum with his opponent and provided excellent answers and displayed an in-depth knowledge of the subjects.

For his thoughtful leadership, practical experience, and commitment to transparency and accountability, we urge you to vote for Peter Silliman for District 5 Councilor. Please join us in supporting Peter and sharing this recommendation with your neighbors.
