First-arriving crews found black smoke coming from a metal sided commercial building or shop
On Wednesday (Dec. 18) at 2:59 p.m., the Vancouver Fire Department was dispatched to 12009 NE 99th Street in Vancouver for a reported building fire. The first engine company arrived on scene in just over four minutes after dispatch.
First-arriving crews found black smoke coming from a metal sided commercial building or shop. Crews used multiple hose lines to knock down the fire within minutes.
Five engines, two ladder trucks and two battalion chiefs, with a total of 27 personnel responded to the fire. There were no injuries reported.
The Clark County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
