Ridgefield schools participate in National School Breakfast Week and celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday with “Green Eggs and Ham” breakfast — A patron tour to explore Battle Ground Public Schools’ Career and Technical Education programs will be held Fri., March 3. Community members and parents of eighth graders are invited to attend and learn more about the programs.

Today we are featuring two stories on Ridgefield schools. First, in an effort to encourage more families to take advantage of the healthy choices available with school breakfast, Ridgefield schools will celebrate National School Breakfast Week during March 6-9. Second, students at South Ridge Elementary and Union Ridge Elementary in the first grade, and their parents, celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday this past week with a “Green Eggs and Ham” breakfast sponsored by Beaches Restaurant.
