Didn’t get a chance to see the game, but here are some notes from King’s Way Christian coach Tom Schroeder. What did Schroeder learn about his team in Week 4? “We need to learn how to play a full four quarters. Only down 16-7 at the half, and then we made way too many mistakes.” Offense: Michael Garrison caught a touchdown pass from Kemper Shrock in the first quarter, but that was it for the Knights. Defense: “We held them on some drives, and then they would get a big play,” Schroeder said. Thoughts on Week 5 vs. La Center: “Another top-10 team in the state. We hope to hold our ground and keep grinding,” Schroeder said. “We have stayed positive and worked on our motto of ‘All in.’ Each young man needs to do his job and ‘trust’ in the system and ‘believe’ all things can be possible. We are in this together win or lose.”
