Clark County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit investigating fatality vehicle collision

Medics on scene pronounced one of the involved parties deceased after life-saving measures were not successful

On Wednesday (Aug. 7)  at about 7:15 p.m., a witness called 9-1-1 to report a collision between two trucks in the 29700 block of NE Railroad Avenue near Yacolt.  

The collision resulted in one of the trucks catching on fire and hitting a tree.  Medics on scene pronounced one of the involved parties deceased after life-saving measures were not successful.  

The Clark County Traffic Homicide Unit was called out and is conducting an investigation.  This case is active pending further investigation.
