Clark County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested a juvenile male at Heritage High School Thursday for Possession of a Dangerous Weapon on school grounds.
School employees had located a handgun in the backpack of the student while at the school. The juvenile stated to law enforcement that he had no intention of hurting himself or anyone else.
Per RCW 9.41.280 the juvenile was referred to speak to a Designated Crisis Responder while at the Juvenile Detention Center.
This is an ongoing criminal investigation and no further information is available at this time.
