The 63-year-old male suffered a medical condition
VANCOUVER — The Clark County Sheriff’s Office reported Wednesday that an inmate at the Clark County Jail passed away.
On Oct. 17, the 63-year-old male was returning from meeting with his attorney. He was observed by jail staff suffering from a medical condition. Jail medical staff began treating the inmate and an ambulance was called.
The inmate was transported to an area hospital where he remained in critical condition. He subsequently passed away on Tuesday (Oct. 22). Since the inmate was incarcerated at the time, this is considered an in-custody death. The death appears to be natural causes.
