On Oct. 7, 2022, Clark County Today published What is Congressional candidate’s actual name? The question hasn’t been clearly answered, and should have been, in 2022.

In both 2016 and 2018, she ran for public office in Skamania County, using one name to file required F1 Financial Affairs Statements and different names on the ballots, which is highly irregular.

Then, in 2022, she used one name on official paperwork for her business and real estate in Portland, Oregon, and another name for FEC filings when running for Congress, which is highly irregular and should be investigated. See the details below.

In 2016, Kristina Marie Perez filed to run for Skamania County Commissioner. She submitted required candidate filings including an F1 Financial Affairs Statement. However, unlike other candidates, her F1 Reports are not available on demand at the PDC website for all years she ran for office. Instead, a special request is required, not available outside of business hours. The PDC Commission is appointed by the Governor, who have all been democrats for decades.

2016: Her name on the ballot was Marie Perez-Gluesenkamp, different than her name on the candidate F1 Report.

2018: Candidate Kristina Marie Perez files an F1 Report as required to run for Public Utility District Commissioner. A new name appears on the ballot, Marie Gluesenkamp Perez.

Business Filings in Oregon

2017: Perez Gluesenkamp Enterprises, LLC is formed per filings with the Oregon Secretary of State (SOS). Kristina Marie Perez and Dean Gluesenkamp are listed as members.

2018: Perez Gluesenkamp Enterprises purchases property for Deans Car Care auto repair & machine shop at 1506 NE Lombard St, Portland OR -Quarter acre Residential Land with Generic Shop for $800,000. Perez’ congressional website states, “They were able to purchase their building with the help of an SBA loan”. Kristina Marie Perez is listed as a member, and e-signs the Annual Report as President on 09-26-2018.

2019 and 2020: Kristina Marie Perez is listed as Registered Agent and Member. She files the Annual Reports and e-signs as Owner on 08-28-2019, then again on 10-28-2020.

2021: Dec. 9 Perez Gluesenkamp Enterprises Administrative Dissolution. Likely reason: Failure to submit Annual Report and fee by the due date, which may result in inactivation on Oregon SOS records.

2021: Dec. 20 Kristina Marie Perez is listed as Registered Agent and Member. She requests that Perez Gluesenkamp Enterprises be active again on the records of the Corporate Division and e-signs as Owner on 12-20-2021. Annual Reports include a Declaration that statements are “true, correct, and complete”. She files the Annual Report at the same time.

2022: Kristina Marie Perez is listed as Registered Agent and Member/Manager. The Due-Date for the Annual Report was Oct. 11, 2022, and it was filed 17 days late, on Оct. 28, 2022. It was signed in ink by Member/Manager Dean Gluesenkamp on Sep 12,2022.

November 8, 2022 was the Election date when Marie Gluesenkamp Perez first ran for Congress, following a 3-week voting period that coincided with the delayed Annual Report filing for her business in Oregon.

2022, Marie Gluesenkamp Perez filed 2 Statements of Candidacy with the FEC to run for US Representative 3rd District. On the First Statement dated Feb 2, 2022 she states:

“I hereby designate the following named political committee as my Principal Campaign Committee for the 2022 election(s)”   Marie for Congress    FEC ID #: C00806174

Signed as: Marie Gluesenkamp Perez

The Second Statement is dated Nov. 21, 2022. MGP authorizes a second fundraising committee:

MARIE GLUESENKAMP PEREZ VICTORY FUND     FEC ID #: C00822759

January 3, 2023 Marie Gluesenkamp Perez took an Oath of Office to serve as US Representative, 3rd District.

March 3, 2023: PEREZ GLUESENKAMP ENTERPRISES, LLC submits a Company Information Change. Dean Gluesenkamp is updated to be the Registered Agent. Kristina Marie Perez is no longer shown as a Member/Manager. From inception in 2017 to March 3, 2023, Kristina Marie Perez was listed on the records of the company as a member. In most years, she was also listed as Registered Agent, and in some years, also the Owner or President.

The question remains, what was her legal name in 2022? What verification procedures does the FEC utilize to ensure that candidates who file to raise funds for a seat in the US House of Representatives, the Senate, or President are using a true and accurate name? What actions, if any, does Congress take to verify the identity of those are elected to Congress prior to the swearing in ceremony?

The variable election standards and practices among the states for federal elections impact SW Washington and our country.

The Current Statement of Candidacy was filed on April 10, 2025, and MGP authorizes 11 committees to receive and expend funds on behalf of her candidacy. The Victory Fund has changed name and ID#. Contributions are public, and can be filtered from Largest to smallest.

On Oct. 30, 2026, the largest processed donation I see is $40,000 from The Committee to Elect Jared Golden in Maine made on Sept. 30, 2026.

MGP VICTORY FUND     FEC ID #: C00896225

As of October 14, at least $5,339,378 in contributions have been processed. The fundraising platform MGP mostly uses is ACTBLUE.
