BATTLE GROUND — Engineers have received a permit from WSDOT to survey in and around the SR-502/503 intersection as part of the city of Battle Ground's Congestion Relief Project.The city of Battle Ground has issued a traffic alert for Fri., March 9. Delays are expected at SR-502/503 Intersection between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Map courtesy of city of Battle GroundWhile the survey work is performed, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., the 502/503 signal will be disabled and flaggers will control the intersection. In each direction traffic will be funneled into one lane from which drivers will be able to go left, straight, or right as allowed by the flaggers.Motorists are advised to avoid the intersection if possible. If travel through the area is necessary, motorists should be extremely cautious and aware of flaggers.Information provided by city of Battle Ground.
