Sarah Salo was arrested by Lacey Police Friday and transported to Clark County by a CCSO deputy
On Friday (May 5) at about 5:05 p.m., Lacey Police had arrested Sarah Salo for entering a school and stealing credit cards and identification belonging to teachers of that school. Salo has been sought for similar crimes in Clark County and the greater Portland Metro area.
Lacey Police were aware of outstanding warrants for Salo out of Clark County and called the Clark County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) to confirm those warrants and to determine if she was wanted for other crimes.
Due to the jail regulations in the Lacey area, Lacey Police were unable to book Salo on the local Lacey charges or the Clark County warrant. CCSO Deputy Greg Marek happened to be in Olympia on an unrelated Honor Guard detail. Deputy Marek took custody of Salo and transported her to Clark County where she was booked on a number of charges as well as warrants from Clark County and Multnomah County, OR.
Salo was booked for the following:
- Criminal Impersonation 1st Degree
- Theft 1st Degree
- Possession of Another’s Identity
- Forgery
- Clark County warrant for Burglary 2nd Degree and Theft 2nd Degree
- Multnomah County warrant for Identity Theft
