The Trappers found the end zone in Week 3, meaning they found some success on offense. Didn’t get to watch this one, but here are some notes provided by Fort Vancouver coach Steve Broussard? What did the coach learn about his team in Week 3? “We need to learn how to come out of the gate,’’ Broussard said. “We dig ourselves a hole, and it’s a tough hole to get out of. Gotta learn how to start fast. Start in the green instead of the red.” MVP on offense: Rickie Williams. He rushed for more than 100 yards. Broussard also noted he played multiple positions, including some on defense, filling in for some injured teammates. “He was able to do well even in positions he did not practice.”   MVP on defense: Nehamiah Polk-Rasheed for his consistent play, the coach said. Thoughts on Week 4 vs. Benson: “Trying to get No. 1, trying to get this first one,” Broussard said of the win column. “Need a fast start to compete. They have decent team speed we should be concerned about. We need to rally to them, and not allow explosive, big plays. “Looking for the opportunity to try to get better.”
