The Camas School District Legislative Advocacy Committee will host a Candidate Forum for candidates in the 3rd US Congressional and 17th Washington State Legislative Districts. The forum will be held Monday, Oct. 5, 6:30-8 p.m., at Discovery High School, 5125 NW Nan Henriksen Way in Camas.
The following candidates have been invited to participate in the forum:

The non-partisan forum is free and open to the public. Doors open at 6:15 p.m., and questions begin at 6:30 p.m. Members of the Camas School District Legislative Advocacy Committee and Camas High School students will moderate the structured forum. This forum will focus on public education issues.
Each set of candidates will be asked the same questions provided by the Legislative Advocacy Committee. The forum will be recorded.
The Camas School District Legislative Advocacy Committee is hosting this event for the first time to provide voters with an opportunity to hear from candidates in the November 3 general election about their views on public education in Washington State and nationally. Members of the Legislative Advocacy Committee include Camas School District employees and students as well as community members.
Audience members will not be able to ask questions during the forum. Distribution of campaign materials, including the carrying of signs, in the building by candidates, volunteers, or members of the public is prohibited.
