WASHOUGAL – Travelers who use State Route 14 near the Washougal River Road roundabout should plan for daytime delays.
On Thursday, Sept. 19, Washington State Department of Transportation maintenance crews will use intermittent single-lane closures with flaggers for paving work in preparation for the rainy season. This work helps extend the lifespan of the roundabout and provides safe and reliable road conditions for travelers.
What travelers need to know
- From 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19: Travelers along both directions of SR 14, near the Washougal River Road roundabout at milepost 16, will alternate intermittently through a single lane.
During paving work, travelers will follow flaggers through the area with expected delays of up to 20 minutes. A reminder to please be patient and stay focused when traveling in work zones.
