Four residents and their pets were displaced from their Vancouver home
One person suffered life-threatening injuries and four residents and their pets from a house fire early Monday morning in Vancouver.
At 3:23 a.m. on Monday (Sept. 26), the Vancouver Fire Department responded to a report of a structure fire at 5817 NE 39th Court. Initial arriving crews found a working house fire.
A total of 30 fire personnel responded to the scene including six engines and two ladder trucks.
One person was transported to an area hospital by American Medical Response with non-life threatening injuries. Four adult occupants, two dogs and three cats were displaced from the home by the fire.
The American Red Cross responded to assist the displaced occupants. The cause of fire and damage assessment are under investigation.
