Following a nationwide search, the Fort Vancouver Regional Library’s Board of Trustees is inviting members of the community to meet finalists to be the district’s next executive director.
The informal “Meet and Greet” event will be held from 4-6 p.m. on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Vancouver Community Library, 901 C Street, Vancouver, WA 98660. Each candidate will give a short introduction, followed by opportunities for the public to mingle and socialize with them. The candidate presentations will be streamed live. FVRL’s Executive Director position opened following the retirement of Amelia Shelley at the end of July. FVRL’s Outreach and Community Partnerships Director, Justin Keeler, has been serving as interim director during the search process.
Recruitment for the library’s next executive director has been conducted by Strategic Government Resources.
