Letter: Vicki Kraft ‘is that rare elected official’

Incumbent seeking second term in Washington State Legislature

Vicki Kraft, running for 17th District state representative, is that rare elected official who focuses on essential issues and constituent services.  That is why it is so vital that she be re-elected. Her collegial demeanor is combined with toughness when principles and integrity are involved. Kraft made a pledge to bring leadership, integrity and accountability to this office and focus on priorities to make our community a better place. She has kept that pledge. Her priorities are my priorities: fiscal responsibility and accountability in government, reduce small business taxes, create jobs, help veterans and decrease I-5 traffic congestion in which I get trapped regularly while working in Oregon.   We can count on her to fight for us on tolls. Re-electing Vicki is one of the main reasons I will vote right away when I get my ballot. Bob Freeman Washougal
