VANCOUVER – Candidates for Vancouver City Council will participate in a forum ahead of the Aug. 5 primary election.
The June 26 forum for City Council Position 1 is sponsored by the nonpartisan League of Women Voters of Clark County. It will begin at 6:15 p.m. at the Vancouver Community Library’s Columbia Room, 901 C St.
The public is invited to attend the forum in person or to watch it on government access channel CVTV or cvtv.org.
The nonprofit League of Women Voters was founded by leaders of the women’s suffrage movement in 1920; for 105 years, the League has worked to empower voters and defend democracy.
