For the first time in three years, the forums will be open to the public
VANCOUVER – Candidates in 12 Clark County races will participate in forums ahead of the Nov. 8 general election. The forums, sponsored by the nonpartisan League of Women Voters of Clark County, will be aired on government access channel CVTV and links will be posted on cvtv.org.
For the first time in three years, the forums will be open to the public; however, space will be Very limited at some venues. Members of the media wishing to cover the events should contact [email protected] at least 48 hours ahead of time to reserve a seat.
All forums are scheduled from 6:30-8 p.m. as follows:
- Sept. 26 – Clark County Council, Districts 1 and 2, and Clark County Auditor
Vancouver Community Library, 901 C St.
- Oct. 3 – 17th Legislative District, Positions 1 and 2, and Public Utility District,
Commissioner, District 2 Camas Public Library, 625 NE 4th Ave.
- Oct. 10 – 49th Legislative District, Positions 1 and 2, and Clark County Sheriff
Vancouver Community Library, 901 C St.
- Oct. 12 – 18th Legislative District, Positions 1 and 2, and Clark County Council, District 5
Washington State University, Dengerink Administration Building.
