The Clark County Fair is inviting active duty and veterans of the U.S. military to the fair on Tuesday in order for organizers, and other fairgoers, to salute them.
Tuesday is Military Appreciation Day at the fair. Active duty and veterans receive a $2 off discount to enter the fair.
Tuesday also happens to be the night of the Hell on Hooves Rough Stock Rodeo at the grandstands. Rodeo fans know all about how special grand entries are at their performances. With the American flags, horses, and patriotic themes, it is a perfect way to honor America’s heroes.
The rodeo starts at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Earlier in the day, it’s the second day of Mutton Bustin’, and little partners hang on for dear life while riding sheep. It is also an adventure. Registration for Mutton Bustin’ starts at noon, with competition beginning at 2 p.m. The best riders will also compete later that night at the rodeo.
Tuesday is Day 5 of the 10-day fair. It will continue with its daily exhibits, including featured exhibit Dino Encounters.
Hypnotist Joe Black will have two performances on the Holt Homes Community Stage, with the first at 6 p.m. and the second at 8 p.m.
