These aren’t Monster Trucks, but they just might be tougher than Monster Trucks.
The drivers have to be tough.
The Clark County Fair is excited to welcome back the Tuff Trucks for two shows Saturday, 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
The headlining act of the grandstands arena, according to the fair’s website, will feature local drivers pushing everyday trucks to the limit on a rugged dirt track with mud, jumps, and sharp turns. It is fast, and unpredictable. The Addiction Powersports’ Tuff Trucks are sure to bring edge-of-your-seat moments.
The fair, traditionally opens at 10 a.m., but there is a special event that begins at 9 a.m.: The junior livestock auction. Each year, more than 300 families, businesses, clubs, lodges, and groups support the work of local 4-H, FFA, and Grange Youth exhibitors.
This Saturday also is the final Saturday of the fair. For some, that means staying late to enjoy the rides one last time. The carnival opens at noon, and the fair closes at 11 p.m.
If you are hungry, there is a cheeseburger eating contest at 12:30 p.m.
The band Hangfire is set to play the Community Stage at 3:45 p.m.
Plus there are the other staples at the fair. Food. Vendors. So many activities.
Once again, Barnyard Races and the Pirate’s Parrot Show will have several daily shows.
DogTown will be open most of the day, as well.
Tyzen the Comedy Hypnotist, Magician Adam the Great, and the Professor Smart Science Show are also on the schedule.
Mars Encounters, the featured exhibit for families, is open all day, but also has three live shows throughout the day: 2:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., and 6:30 p.m.
