Between Sunday (Aug. 25) and Sat. Sept 7, WSDOT contractor crews will have two partial road closures at the SR 503 and Rock Creek Road intersection
BATTLE GROUND – Travelers who use the State Route 503 and Rock Creek Road intersection should expect delays due to construction of a new roundabout. Between Sunday, Aug. 25 - Saturday Sept 7, contractor crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will have two partial road closures at the SR 503 and Rock Creek Road intersection to complete additional phases of construction for the new roundabout. During the closures, travelers will watch for signage directing them through the work zone.
What to expect
- Sunday, Aug. 25 - Thursday, Aug. 29: The southeast quadrant of the intersection will be closed from 10 p.m. on Sunday to 10 p.m. on Thursday, for curb installation, paving and other work.
- Tuesday, Sept. 3 - Saturday, Sept 7: The northeast quadrant of the intersection will be closed from 7 p.m. on Tuesday to 6 a.m. on Saturday, for curb installation, paving and other work.
- Over the Labor Day weekend, the intersection will be open in the roundabout configuration with no closures.
When traveling through the work zone, slow down, be prepared for changes in traffic patterns and follow the directions of signs, flaggers and signals.
