AMBOY– Travelers who use the State Route 503 Yale Bridge should expect delays and consider taking a different route.
On Wednesday, March 5 and Thursday, March 6, Washington State Department of Transportation bridge maintenance crews will complete annual bridge inspections, requiring temporary closures.
What to expect
- Wednesday, March 5 and Thursday, March 6: The SR 503 Yale Bridge at milepost 27.8, over Lake Merwin, will temporarily close each day from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- Flaggers will stop traffic on either side of the bridge for up to 20-minutes at a time during inspections.
Travelers should slow down as they approach the work zone, follow flaggers instructions, have patience, and expect delays.
