Work scheduled for southbound I-205 off-ramp to eastbound SR 14 on-ramp
VANCOUVER – People who travel between southbound Interstate 205 and eastbound State Route 14 in Vancouver, will need to plan ahead and use an alternate route this week.
On Wednesday, Feb. 7, the Washington State Department of Transportation’s maintenance crews will close the southbound I-205 off-ramp at Exit 27 for eastbound SR 14/Camas, to repair and replace damaged guardrail, along the ramp.
Additionally, during the ramp closure, crews will make repairs to damaged bridge joints and clear vegetation along the shoulders of the ramp. Fully closing the off- and on-ramp gives crews the space needed to perform this work safely.
What to expect
- Wednesday, Feb. 7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.: The southbound I-205 off-ramp at Exit 27 for eastbound SR 14/Camas, will be closed.
There are no detour routes in place, travelers will need to use an alternate route. The southbound I-205 off-ramp to westbound SR 14 will remain open.
As with any highway maintenance and construction project, travelers must exercise caution through the work zone. To keep both road users and road workers safe, travelers are asked to have patience and obey advanced warning signs.
