CLARK COUNTY — Clark County residents who are interested in parks are encouraged to apply to fill a vacancy on the Parks Advisory Board.
The successful applicant will fill the remainder of a term that ends Dec. 31, 2017, and be eligible for reappointment to the seven-member board.
The board typically meets from noon to 2:30 p.m. the second Friday of the month, usually at Luke Jensen Sports Park, 4000 NE 78th St., in Vancouver.
Board members do not receive compensation. To avoid potential conflicts of interest, board members cannot be county employees or be involved with parks construction or planning.
