Opening Day Parade is set for 2 p.m., and country music artist Trace Adkins will perform at 7 p.m. as part of the opening of the 2023 Clark County Fair.
The wait is over for those counting down the days until the Clark County Fair.
Fun Meets Farm starts today, Friday, Aug. 4.
Here are just some of the highlights scheduled for Day 1 of the fair’s 10-day run.
For those with vouchers from Fred Meyer, free admission goes from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
A feature exhibit this year will be Wizard’s Challenge. That exhibit opens at 10 a.m. and continues until close, which is 11 p.m. Friday.
The Fun Zone for children goes from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m.
DogTown opens at 11 a.m. and closes at 7 p.m.
There is also Curly and the Camel and friends, along with the Pirate’s Parrot Live Bird Show throughout the day. Oh, and Butterfly Adventures.
The Opening Day Parade, a big hit last year, returns and will travel along the midway of the fairgrounds starting at 2 p.m.
The main event at the grandstands will be country music artist Trace Adkins. His show begins at 7 p.m.
There are plenty of other music options throughout the day, as well as shows from hypnotist Jerry Harris, and Magician Adam the Great.
