Residents in Battle Ground can now take any used or leftover paint to the Battle Ground Ace Hardware store and they will accept it for recycling, free of charge. Paint must be latex or oil-based.

West Van Materials Recovery Center, 6601 NW Old Lower River Road, Vancouver, Fri-Sat., 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
Washougal Transfer Station, 4020 S. Grant St., Washougal, third Saturday of the month, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
Latex-based paint dropped off at any of these stores or facilities is recycled into new paint. Oil-based paint is repurposed as an alternative fuel.
