RIDGEFIELD — Clark County area residents still have plenty of time to visit the 39th annual HomeStreet Bank Clark County Parade of Homes, presented by DeWils.   The annual Parade of Homes event is going on now until Oct. 2 and is open to the public from 10 a.m.-7 p.m., with the exception of Mondays and Tuesdays when the event is closed. This year’s Parade of Homes is being held at the Carty Road Estates in Ridgefield.   Tomorrow, Wed., Sept. 28, will be another Half-Price Wednesday at this year’s Parade of Homes, sponsored by Berkshire Hathaway and First American Title. Enjoy southwest Washington’s finest home show for just $6. There is no coupon required.   On Thu., Sept. 29, the Color & Design Tour will be held at the Parade of Homes. Reserve a spot in the guided tour hosted by parade interior designers and decorators. Hear first hand about the inspiration for each project. Pick up tips and trends to style your own home. The Ascension (Home No. 4) Cascade West Development

  According to the Clark County Parade of Homes website, The Ascension built by Cascade West Development is “the embodiment of a personal journey to greatness.”   This home is designed to incorporate all of life’s little moments. The geometry of this plan allows the rooms to fit together in a way that maximizes square footage and the illumination of natural light.   The kitchen is composed to entertain and promote all types of social activity. An integrated outdoor living space, with its large fireplace, formidable cooking area and built-in barbecue, acts as an extension of the Great Room further blurring the line between fabricated and organic settings.   The main floor of the house also includes a centrally located exercise room with scenic forest views and a study off of the Great Room.   Another highlight of this home, according to the website, is the fortified retreat of the master suite and bath.
