Vancouver Police investigate fatal traffic collision ’

VANCOUVER – On Tuesday (Oct. 20) at about 10:45 a.m., Vancouver Police responded to E 37th Street/P Street for the report of a collision involving a vehicle and a motorcycle.

The initial investigation indicates the vehicle was on E 37th Street traveling westbound and was in the middle of the intersection when a motorcycle traveling southbound on P Street struck the vehicle’s rear passenger side. The motorcyclist was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries, which he did not survive. The vehicle driver remained on scene and did not show any signs of impairment.

The Vancouver Police Department Traffic Unit is continuing the investigation. Nothing additional is being released at this time.
