VANCOUVER — At approximately 2:27 p.m. Friday (Sept. 4), Vancouver Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire at 5619 NE 70th St..
Vancouver Fire responded with a total of 10 units and 28 suppression personnel. The fire was out upon crews’ arrival. Firefighters conducted a thorough investigation of the structure to ensure the fire had not extended into the attic or other concealed areas.
Vancouver Fire paramedics and American Medical Response (AMR) provided medical care at the scene to a citizen who sustained minor burns. The individual declined transportation to a hospital.
Clark County Fire District 6 assisted at the scene, responding with an engine and ladder truck.
The Clark County Fire Marshal’s Office was also on scene to investigate the incident. The cause of the fire and any additional details related to the incident remain under investigation.
There were no reports of additional injuries.
