Northwest Democrats often remind me of children.
Once they’ve decided they want a particular toy, they’re gonna scream in your face till they get it.
Then, in just a few days, you’ll find that shiny new toy discarded in a corner.
That’s what happened to the “mask ban.”
Remember when liberals just would NOT shut up about how they absolutely HAD TO HAVE a law against ICE agents wearing masks as they arrest the millions of illegal aliens who’ve invaded our country.
Washington Democrat Governor Bob Ferguson signed Senate Bill 5855 with much fanfare about six months ago.
Like so much of what Democrat politicians do, it just sat there for half a year … never enforced.
The law didn’t make it ILLEGAL for ICE agents to wear masks. It allowed FOREIGN illegals to file lawsuits against American agents who arrested them while WEARING masks.
So far, it appears that not a single lawsuit has been filed by any of those illegal invaders.
And even if they eventually do, their lawyers missed that day in law school where they taught about the Constitution’s Supremacy Clause … which means federal law TRUMPS state laws every day … pun intended.
