Opinion: Don't make the girls do the work to fix an adult problem

If you need another reason to vote yes on initiative 638 in Washington State, I can give you a couple.

Two girls from Skyview High School named Charlie Garrett and Sierra Retzlaff.

Less than a month ago, they both made a sacrifice by forfeiting a race in a track competition after they learned they were competing against a biological boy … what woke folks call a “transgender girl.”

I applaud their choice and the protest it includes … but at the same time, it's sad that adults who created this whole problem made teenage girls solve it for them.

Boys run faster than girls, and that competition ain’t fair.

Adult school boards let this happen, not girls. Adult coaches stayed silent as the LGBT political activists used girls to traffic their message.

Shame on creeps like State School Superintendent Chris Reykdahl and every school board member who either stayed silent … or openly supported his outrage.

Half a century ago, America passed laws like Title 9 to make sure girls got equal opportunity … and in the last 10 years, the Democrat Party surrendered those opportunities to win points for politics.

When you mark your ballot, make those enemies of childhood pay and vote yes on initiative 638.
