And monster donuts, too.
The Clark County Fair is preparing for its stretch run, the final three of 10 days of what is considered Summer’s Best Party.
On Thursday, it was the return of the Monster Trucks to the grandstands arena.
Well, those trucks are so popular, gotta do it again. Yep, Friday will also include two shows: 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
Keeping with the monster theme, the fair is also holding a Monster Donut Eating Contest at 12:30 p.m.
NatureScaping of Southwest Washington will have volunteers on hand at the Mattress Firm Marketplace to answer questions about gardening and more, starting at noon.
The Blown Cover Band, the Bogans Band, and Lynn Graciano B Street Brass will have performances on the Community Stage.
Of course, there are the other staples of the fair. Rides. Food. Vendors. Oh, and so many animals to see, too.
A friendly reminder that the fair opens at 10 a.m., but the carnival, with its thrill rides and family fun rides, does not open until noon.
Once again, Barnyard Races and the Pirate’s Parrot Show will have several daily shows.
DogTown will be open most of the day, as well.
Tyzen the Comedy Hypnotist, Magician Adam the Great, and the Professor Smart Science Show are also on the schedule.
Mars Encounters, the featured exhibit for families, is open all day, but also has three live shows throughout the day: 2:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., and 6:30 p.m.
