The driver of the vehicle and the motorcycle rider both succumbed to their injuries
On Wednesday (Dec. 20) at about 6:08 p.m. witnesses called 9-1-1 to report a motorcycle was involved in a collision with a vehicle on NE 72nd Avenue near the intersection with NE 101st Street in Vancouver. Witnesses reported occupants of the vehicle and the motorcycle rider were injured.
First responders with Vancouver Fire Department, American Medical Response, and the Clark County Sheriff's Office arrived to find the driver of the vehicle and the motorcycle rider had both succumbed to their injuries. Several other occupants of the vehicle were transported to the hospital with possible minor injuries.
Family members of everyone involved in this incident have been notified. This case is active pending further investigation by the Clark County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Homicide Unit.
