At approximately 12:25 p.m. on Thursday (Nov. 20), the Vancouver Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a heater on fire in the garage of a home at 13022 NE 55th St.
Firefighters arrived to find an active fire in the garage. Crews quickly extinguished the flames and contained the fire to the garage.
Two residents were displaced and are in contact with the American Red Cross. No injuries were reported.
A total of 25 firefighters responded to the incident.
