Art enthusiasts and curious onlookers are invited to witness this display, with the public encouraged to join the artists on eight specific dates this summer
VANCOUVER – The Southwest Washington Watercolor Society recently announced a series of outdoor painting events at the O.O. Howard House. Starting on Wednesday (June 21), from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., and continuing until Sat., Aug. 26, artists will gather to create artworks on the grounds of the Fort Vancouver National Site.
Art enthusiasts and curious onlookers are invited to witness this display, with the public encouraged to join the artists on eight specific dates this summer. The Summer Fest, sponsored by The Historic Trust, will take place on Sundays from 2-4 p.m. and Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. The scheduled dates are June 25, July 9, July 19, July 30, August 9, and August 20, and the series will culminate with National Play Music on the Porch Day on Sat., Aug. 26, from 2-5 p.m.
These events are free of charge, providing an accessible and engaging opportunity for everyone to experience the artistry and talent of the participating artists. The O.O. Howard House, located at 750 Anderson St, Vancouver, will serve as the backdrop for this artistic journey.
