The Southwest Gobblers Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation will hold its 1st Annual Hunting Heritage Banquet. The event is scheduled for Sat., June 21 at the Oak Tree Restaurant, located at 1020 Atlantic Ave. in Woodland. Doors open at 5 p.m.
“Hello Clark County turkey hunters,’’ said Mike Mason, president of the new National Wild Turkey Federation. “Did you know we have a new National Wild Turkey Federation chapter right here in the Vancouver area? We do, and this Saturday we are hosting our 1st annual Wild Turkey Hunting Heritage Banquet. Please come out and support our conservation and hunting traditions with a dinner and lots of gear to be raffled off. From hunting and outdoor accessories to hunting shotgonz and rifles. Outdoor enthusiasts, women hunters and kids (are) very welcome!”
Tickets combined with membership are $40 for those 17 and under, $65 for singles and $110 for couples. Other sponsorship tables are available for purchase.
