RedDoor Gallery invites the public to experience the magic behind the masterpieces at its first ever Brush Strokes in Motion where inspiration meets the canvas. This month, several represented artists at RedDoor Gallery will be performing a series of live art making demonstrations. Throughout January, the gallery will showcase its artists as they bring new works to life right inside RedDoor’s studio space.
“We want art lovers and curious visitors alike to experience our creative process, meet the artists and feel the art, up close and personal,” says Liz Pike, artist and owner at RedDoor Gallery in Camas. “Our guests will have a unique opportunity to witness the step-by-step transformation – from beginning stages to finished compositions – while engaging directly with the artists about their techniques, inspirations, and materials,” added Pike. Guests will also enjoy a complimentary art reception during each live painting demonstration.
Pike noted that live art demonstrations celebrate the vibrant arts community that Camas has long been known for. RedDoor is inviting other galleries including Gallery 408 and Attic Gallery to host their own artists with live demonstrations during January. “We know from experience that our collectors, patrons and visitors love watching creativity unfold, as these events offer an intimate and inspiring look behind the scenes,” said Pike. “Our visitors are encouraged to stop by, ask questions, and enjoy the warm, welcoming atmosphere that defines the RedDoor Gallery experience.
