Oregon has an election coming up in just over a month. Washington’s later this year. Both states know they have seriously flawed voter registration.
So, when the U.S. Department of Justice reaches out to get more information to root out fraudulent voters, what do both states do?
They go to court and sue to stop it.
Consider that just this week, a lawsuit forced Colorado to remove 372,000 ineligible voter names from the state’s voter registration system.
I think the Democrat Party officials who run Oregon and Washington know that a search of their voter rolls will find similar evidence of fraud and fake registrations.
So they’re fighting it in court, hoping to head off a thorough cleanup of voting right before a major election.
I’ve heard the usual excuses, Oregon and Washington are solid blue states that always elect Democrats.
But have you noticed how folks vote on the issues? Voters in both states solidly support conservative ballot measures on almost every issue from illegal alien drivers licenses to tax hikes.
Even Oregon’s measure 114 ban on buying guns, a favorite liberal issue, only passed by 1 percent. Does that sound solid blue to you?
