Camas resident Anna Miller sheds light on who is behind planned July 4th Rally

When you see a flyer like this, notice it does not say WHO just what, where and when.
WHO? The July 4th Rally is organized by Refuse Fascism, which has its roots in the Revolutionary Communist Party (RCP), which played a central role in launching the organization.
Refuse Fascism is not a registered political action committee (PAC), so it’s not subject to the same public disclosure rules that apply to campaign finance.
The group Refuse Fascism shares infrastructure with the Revolutionary Communist Party (RCP) including addresses and resources and has not publicly disclosed a separate tax status or nonprofit registration.
Revolutionary Communist Party, USA (RCP was founded in 1975 and has been led since its inception by Bob Avakian, who remains its central figure and ideological architect. Avakian is known for developing what he calls the New Synthesis of Communism, which blends Marxism-Leninism-Maoism with his own theoretical contributions.
Other individuals historically associated with the RCP’s formation include Leibel Bergman, H. Bruce Franklin, and Stephen Charles Hamilton, who were part of the earlier Bay Area Revolutionary Union, the precursor to the RCP. However, Avakian has remained the dominant voice and public face of the organization for decades.
