Leslie Lewallen has the education and working background fitted perfectly to serve as a City Council member. She earned a degree in Political Science and Juris Doctorate opening doors to clerk at the Washington State Supreme Court, serve as a Deputy Prosecutor and work in private practice focusing on land use, property rights and environmental law. She is trained academically and professionally to tackle decision making for Camas City Council.
Leslie is a worthy incumbent having served four years on Camas City Council with dedication, integrity and focus on specific needs of Camas citizens. Currently she serves as a liaison at Chamber Of Commerce, city/school, GP Mill clean-up, Homelessness Strategy Committee, Planning Commission, Port, Regional Transportation Council, and Water Safety.
Camas has a true leader in Leslie Lewallen, well established with a laser focus on fighting over-spending, keeping our neighborhoods safe with fully funded police and fire departments, compassionately working to help the homeless in programs that actually move them into recovery and housing. She has been on both sides of these community issues, through law enforcement and as a city legislator. Vote for Leslie Lewallen to keep her working and delivering results for Camas!
