We are now in September with school starting and Labor Day weekend bringing out all the barbecues. Does anyone remember 9/11/2001? The day we were attacked on our homeland by foreigners that hate America.
Members of al-Qaeda, a radical Islamist extremist group that practice a violent interpretation os Islam, hijacked American passenger jets and used them as weapons against us. Many of our youth were not even born yet.
Look at the Muslim communities in many states that are trying to establish Sharia Law, which is totally incompatible with our US Constitution. They are the "enemy within."
I hope that our media will recognize the importance of remembering that tragic day, just like we do the attack on Pearl Harbor that took us into WWII. We lost about the same number of citizens – was it 3,000? Remember the two airliners where passengers got word out to their families that they had been hijacked. A group of men in one of those planes agreed to go on the attack and try to regain control. The leader's word "Lets Roll" became a famous attack call. The attached image brings that memory to life.
This time the real and present danger to us is the attempt by the Muslim community to establish Sharia Law in the country. They are welcome to assimilate into our way of life, but we are a Christian nation, under the one true God. That is the way it is.
