Hundreds of young entrepreneurs will be trying to make connections, and deals, at Esther Short Park in downtown Vancouver on Saturday, June 7, as part of the Greater Vancouver Chamber’s fourth annual Lemonade Day Junior Market
The best of the brightest young entrepreneurs are getting ready for a huge day of deals at Esther Short Park in downtown Vancouver.
The Greater Vancouver Chamber’s fourth annual Lemonade Day Junior Market is Saturday (June 7) from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
More than 250 young CEOs will showcase their products to potential thousands of customers.
Goods include artwork, jewelry, birdhouses, produce, and more. Participants submit their business results at the end of the day for a chance to be recognized as Southwest Washinton’s Youth Entrepreneur of the Year.
The event is brought you the community by the Greater Vancouver Chamber and it’s “main squeeze” sponsor OnPoint Community Credit Union.
The Junior Market is the culmination of GVC’s Lemonade Day, a program for entrepreneurs ages 6 to 16 that teaches essential skills such as business operations, responsibility, financial literacy, goal setting, and teamwork.
Opening remarks from organizers and other guests will be at 8:45 a.m., with the market opening at 9 a.m.
