VANCOUVER – The League of Women Voters of Clark County has scheduled four candidate forums ahead of the Nov. 3 general election.
Candidates for state House District 17, Position 1; County Council, Districts 1 and 2, Clark County Auditor and Public Utility Commissioner, District 3 will participate in a forum Sept. 23 at the Vancouver Community Library.
On Sept. 30, candidates for state House District 17, Position 2, and Clark County Assessor will answer questions at the Camas Public Library.
An Oct. 1 forum at the Ridgefield Public Library will feature those running for state House District 18,
Positions 1 and 2; state House District 20, Position 2 and County Council, District 5.
And a forum on Oct. 14 at the Vancouver Community Library will feature candidates for state House District 49, Position 2, and Clark County Clerk.
The public is invited to attend the forums in person or to watch them on government access channel CVTV or cvtv.org.
The nonpartisan League of Women Voters was founded by leaders of the women’s suffrage
movement in 1920; for 106 years, the League has worked to empower voters and
defend democracy.
