Journey Theater presents ‘Disney’s High School Musical’

Journey cast and crew are preparing to perform an Immersive theater experience for seven shows, with opening night set for March 14

The audience is sure to be in the middle of the action as Journey Theaters presents Disney’s High School Musical.

It’s the first day after winter break at East High. The Jocks, Brainiacs, Thespians, and Skater Dudes recount tier vacations and look forward to the new year. 

Basketball team captain and resident jock, Troy, just found out the brainy Gabriella, a girl he bet singing karaoke on his ski trip, has just enrolled at East High. Together they cause an upheaval when they decide to audition for the high school musical. 

Although many students resent the threat posed to the “status quo,” Troy and Gabriella’s alliance might just open the door for others to shine as well. 

Come get close to the action in this immersive theater experience taking place in a gymnasium.

It’s Journey Theater’s production of Disney’s High School Musical, with seven performances scheduled in March.

Opening night is 7 p.m. March 14 at Summit View Church, Heritage Park campus at 7701 NE 182nd Ave in Vancouver. 

There are two shows the next day, Saturday, March 15, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.

The following week, there is a 6 p.m. show on Thursday, March, 20; followed by a 7 p.m. performance on Friday, March 21. The show closes with two shows on Saturday, March 22 — at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. 

Journey Theater is thrilled to provide family-friendly musical theater, featuring a cast of talented, local youth to the greater community.
