Community rallies to raise more than $2 million for 180 local nonprofits in just 24 hours
VANCOUVER — The Greater Vancouver Chamber (GVC) proudly announces the successful return of Give More 24!, Southwest Washington’s largest day of online giving. On Thursday, September 25, 2025, thousands of community members came together in a 24-hour fundraising marathon that generated an extraordinary $2.3 million for 180 local nonprofits serving Clark, Cowlitz, Skamania, and Wahkiakum counties.
From midnight to midnight, more than 4,600 donors supported causes spanning education, healthcare, housing, arts, animal welfare, and more. Matching gifts, hourly prizes, and community-driven challenges amplified the excitement, doubling the impact of many contributions and fueling vital programs across the region.
“Give More 24! is about more than raising dollars. It’s about strengthening the bonds that make Southwest Washington such a remarkable place to live and work,” said John McDonagh, President & CEO of the Greater Vancouver Chamber. “By 10 a.m., the community had already surpassed the $1 million mark, and by 10 p.m., we were celebrating an incredible $2 million milestone.”
“The response we saw this year validated our belief that this initiative needed to come back to its roots in Southwest Washington. This event proves that when we come together, we can create lasting change for our neighbors and future generations,” added McDonagh.
In addition to raising critical funds, the event generated significant awareness for local nonprofits, giving them a powerful platform to share their stories, reach new supporters, and celebrate their missions.

Created by the Community Foundation for Southwest Washington in 2014, Give More 24! equips nonprofits with tools to inspire generosity and raise funds during a 24-hour campaign.
