VANCOUVER – Vancouver Public Schools and PeaceHealth Family Medicine are teaming up to provide free sports physicals before the start of the new school year.
The sports physicals are available to Vancouver Public Schools’ student athletes entering grades 6-12 who do not have health insurance or have difficulties accessing primary care services.
The exams are provided by volunteers. They are intended to satisfy the requirements of a physical exam for participation in sports; these exams are not meant to replace regular health visits with a primary care provider*.
Exams are on a first come, first served basis. No appointment is necessary.

Students should bring:
- WIAA Sports Physical Form with Medical History portion completed prior to arriving for the physical.
- Wear loose fitting shorts and a T-shirt.
- Signed Parent Consent Form if not accompanied by a parent or guardian.
*Students with known cardiac, asthma, diabetes and/or seizure-related issues or other conditions of concern cannot be served. If an abnormality is found, the student will be referred to their primary care provider before being cleared for their sport.
